About

I work on the things that actually matter.

Coach, advisor, and builder. Twenty-plus years inside organizations, around founders, and across kitchen tables — paying attention to what makes people and teams actually shift, and what just looks like motion.

The Story

Why this practice exists

I started coaching the way most coaches do — narrowly. Career coaching for executives. The work was rewarding. The results were real. And something kept nagging at me.

The people doing the best career work were almost always also quietly working on something else: a relationship, a recovery, an identity that was outgrowing the job. The dimensions didn't move independently. They moved together or they moved against each other.

So the practice widened. Today it holds three lanes — individuals, leaders, and organizations — because the patterns repeat at every altitude. The conversation that's avoided. The decision that keeps circling. The alignment that everyone assumes and nobody verifies.

The Approach

How I actually work

I don't run programs. I don't certify methodologies. I work conversation by conversation, person by person, organization by organization, with a few principles that don't move:

  • The truth has to be invited, or it stays out of the room.
  • The thing you're stuck on is rarely the thing it looks like.
  • Coached clarity outlasts borrowed advice.
  • Decisions made at a deeper layer hold longer.
  • The long arc is what we're actually optimizing for.

Background

The shape of the resume

Operator before coach. Worked inside organizations from early-stage to multi-billion in scale. Held leadership seats long enough to know what they feel like from the inside, not just from across the table.

Trained through programs in coaching, organizational dynamics, and adult development. But the most useful credential is having actually been in the seats my clients are in — and having gotten enough things right and wrong to know the difference.

What I Believe

A few things I'm fairly certain of.

Your life isn't in parts.

So the work to make it better shouldn't be either.

Leadership is mostly invisible.

What you do in the meeting is downstream of who you are in the chair.

Culture is compound interest.

Tiny behaviors at the top compound for years. In either direction.
